    The digital citizen courses will help those new to using computers to understand how to navigate and use technology effectively in the digital world we live in. KiwiSkills is free for job seekers aged 15 or over, who are New Zealand residents. You can enrol in these courses at any stage.

    Digital Citizen

    For people with no experience using a computer. Build your confidence and develop your computer and internet skills.
    This course will give you the skills to operate a computer and complete those essential tasks.

    Digital Citizen Plus

    For people who are ready to begin using a computer for entry-level study or work. Learn about desktop management, create documents, search the internet and send emails. 
    Be ready to move on to the ICDL Certificate programme.

    International Computer Drivers License (ICDL)

    For people who want to progress and certify their digital skills.
    Complete 4 modules to gain this internationally recognised certificate.

    ICDL has 3 main parts 
    which are:

    • Online Training
    • Diagnostic Tests
    • Certificate Tests
